On Friday the 10th of May, Richard’s Supper Stage will be rocking with laughter with its offering of ‘Comedy and Cocktails’. Headlining this event is Marc Lottering, who needs no introduction to the Cape Town comedy circuit! He will be joined by Schalk Bezuidenhout, Carl Weber as your host for the evening, Dylan Skews and Devin Gray. The evening is sure to be ‘one of a kind‘ with our R25-cocktails, including our colorful ‘comedy cocktail’ - sure to have you rolling on the floor….with laughter, that is.

CLASSIC SUNDAY LUNCHES

Event Date – April 28th :

For the first time ever, at Richard’s, we are hosting Classic Sunday Lunches with incredibly talented singers from Cape Town Opera‘s “Voice of the Nation Opera Young Artists” .They are young, vibrant, extremely talented, and more importantly passionate about opera. They are both the present face and future talent of opera in South Africa and Cape Town Opera is proud to help them develop their craft and to provide them with the best possible training and opportunities. This dynamic group of singers proves that now, more than ever, opera has a place in South Africa.

The ticket price includes the performance and a 3-course buffet, including our famous Creamy Chicken, Bacon and Mushroom pasta, a delectable Chicken and Prawn Curry, Beef Fillet and Hake in a Light Lemon and Parsley Sauce.

JAZZ MONDAYS

Our resident band, partly made up of members from original District Six Jazz Bands, are debuting on the Richard’s stage and will continue to teach and uplift youngsters in their own communities to eventually be skilled enough to join the jazz band. And thus the tradition lives on!

The ticket price includes the jazz show, your choice of mains and a crème caramel for dessert. Choose between a beef or chicken burger, butternut and mushroom lasagne, Caprese salad, chicken and prawn curry or a Greek salad. Finish it off with our now-famous crème caramel as dessert.
